Seguo Georgina Chavez da un paio d’anni. Le sue illustrazioni di moda mi fanno letteralmente impazzire, così l’ho contattata per un’intervista.  E lei molto carinamente ha risposto alle mie domande. L’intervista è in inglese, ma sono sicura che per una volta andrà bene così.

When did you start designing?
I started designing when I was able to draw, when I was 3-4 years old, but i began with my current style 2010.

Where is your love for fashion coming from?
I really don’t know, but I find it funny because as a kid I didn’t care about fashion as much as I do now, but I think that once you understand it you’ll begin to love it!
Why are you so attracted by haute couture brands?
I’m attracted to the brands that have a more fantastic, imaginative or even magical point of view. I like to draw them because I like to represent the worlds or scenery these brands are inspired by or even add a little of my point of view and interpretation.

Have you ever thought about designing your own collection, or using your wonderful prints for a capsule collection?
Yes, and I have, I am an industrial designer and I tried to incorporate fashion design on all my assignments. I made two collections using my illustrations , and I sew gowns on my spare time. Right now I’m focusing on illustration.
