Cynthia Buttenklepper – Fashion through experiences
She is a Mexican girl with German genes who has lived in Spain, Turkey and France. When you meet Cynthia, her style and explosive personality mesmerize you. Her world is a contrast of elements that will fill you with curiosity but at the same time will surround you with harmony. Cynthia Butenklepper is a Young fashion designer who after studying in Barcelona and having some working experience in big companies, decided to make a fashion brand of her own. Her collections are a mixture of elements where her experiences make part of the patterns and her beliefs make part of the designs. In her garments every detail is taken with special care and good taste. Cynthia is a cocktail of sensations; through her view on fashion you can feel how good different cultures an different perceptions can be mixed. She has just done 2 collections but her name sounds strong in Mexico, and we hope soon we will start hearing from her in Europe. “We play With Graphic Nature” is her last collection for Autumn/Winter 2012 and was inspired in nature reflected in urban landscapes. This is Tatiana Vera´s job, creator and believer of Historia Apié (which means history by foot) a brand that has started with shoes that speak and tell their own story, and where every detail counts as part of the narrative. Tatiana’s project has become a real representation of the old artisan manners that where a very important part of this South American Country’s culture but have gotten lost in the way.
